

Established in 1998 by a team with considerable experience, The Listening Company is an independent, mid-sized contact centre specialist dedicated to delivering Intelligent Customer Management solutions that make a positive contribution to your business. With 550 workstations across 3 sites and employing over 900 people, The Listening Company provide contact centre solutions for some of the UK’s biggest brands.
After internal discussion, The Listening Company identified a need to rebrand their offering to the marketplace and invited Anderson Baillie to attend a three way agency pitch for the brand repositioning.
After successfully winning, Anderson Baillie was then appointed to drive the repositioning project forward.
The Anderson Baillie Business Growth team undertook a series of messaging workshops with The Listening Company in order to identify the core messages which would formulate the new identity. The unique Anderson Baillie strategy uncovered the real business benefits of The Listening Company’s offering to the target audience and developed a series of topline messages based upon these benefits.
From here, Anderson Baillie Design services were engaged to use the topline messages identified with the Business Growth team to create the right voice for the brand. The key tagline for the rebrand was focussed around the concept that ‘to hear is not to listen’.
With the new messaging, branding and creative concept work agreed, Anderson Baillie Digital were then able to engage with the teams to deliver the required new corporate website, which The Listening Company would use as their main communications platform.
The new site not only communicates The Listening Company’s core products and services to the marketplace, but also positions them as a thought leader through the addition of elevated consultancy areas within the site that highlight their dedication to delivering Intelligent Customer Management solutions that make a positive contribution to business.
The site also incorporates a recruitment area for their multi-site locations, with real-time jobs advertised.
As part of the site build Anderson Baillie Digital has generated a bespoke Content Management System, which allows real-time site updates to be made through the web hosted system by The Listening Company, at any time. This reduces the maintenance required on the site by a third party, and gives control back to the client.
As part of this project, Anderson Baillie Digital have also undertaken a website optimisation programme, to enable best possible rankings and site visits through the various search engines.
The site has proved very successful in the marketplace and The Listening Company are now looking to Anderson Baillie to develop additional bolt on areas to the site.
